More about me... if you really want to know...

I am just an ordinary, soon-to-be medicare recipient who manages to keep things going, people fed and clean clothes in the drawers. I have loved and said good-bye to many cats over the years, most recently last May (2025). We are now, for the first time since 1987, cat free. Maybe one day another furry friend will lay claim to our hearts. For now we enjoy the neighbor's cats and many well-loved online kitties. (See cat family page.)
I started this blog because I wanted to share my thoughts and ideas or whatever popped into my head. I quickly learned that blogging is not a "build it and they will come" venture. So 15+ years later, after fits and starts and a decent run for a while in fiction/poetry, it is back to fits and starts again. Where it goes from here is TBD.
In 2018 I started a Zazzle store called Rosie B. Designs, and that, too, is puttering along.
Life has its ups and downs and is occasionally frustrating, but mostly it's good, and beats the heck out of the alternative.
