There is nothing extraordinary about this sunrise...unless you consider that I snooze right through most of them.
Between the time change making sunrise later, and my inability to sleep any longer this morning, I saw the sun rise. Lest you think I'm a total slug, I do get the occasional glimpse of dawn breaking when I make my way to the kitchen to feed our...
Awesome Cat
Rosie's internal clock tells him (and me) when it's time for breakfast! After which I pad back to bed.
He has been dubbed an "awesome cat" in part because of all his health issues, and how he takes it all in stride and remains a happy, loving kitty.
Hi Linda .. I think I need Rosie here - why is he called Rosie?
ReplyDeleteThen if he was here I'd have to get up and would have that extra few hours in the day, that I sorely need. Our clocks go forward in just over 2 weeks ..
Happy Sunrises .. and zizzes afterwards - the best time! Cheers Hilary
Hi Hilary- The time change in Spring is always the more difficult one, isn't it? You wondered about how Rosie got HIS name?
ReplyDeleteHere's the story.
I may see more sunrises now. ;)
Beautiful sunrise and beautiful Kitty. I have a perfect view of both the sunrise and sunset from my mountain top, but I only enjoy one. I'm going to get my lazy self up earlier tomorrow and enjoy the sunrise, as well. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteYou will appreciate those sunrises even more because you don't see them often. :) It's a beautiful shot. So is your cat, by the way.
ReplyDeleteRosie is gorgeous! I have to say I'm enjoying the longer evenings. I just finished enjoying a radiant sunset, Linda. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a gorgeous sunrise. You know, I'm always up before the sun rises, but I never take a moment to actually appreciate it when it happens. Tomorrow, I'm going to make a point of it. You've inspired me to stop and watch the sun rise :-)
ReplyDeleteHe IS very rosie and rosy, like the sunrise.
ReplyDeleteYou a slug??! Not a chance!
xo
Jayne-Thank you! Rosie says thanks, too. I bet your view is a gorgeous one. I hope you enjoy the sunrise.
ReplyDeleteDavina- Thanks. I used to see lots of sunrises on my way to work. Sunrises can be just as beautiful as sunsets.
Nicky- I hope the sun rises beautifully just for you!
Jannie- If Rosie looked out the window, he'd see the sun rise every day. Breakfast time of course. That would make him a rosy Rosie.
Rosie, like many animals, has the secret to happiness.. by living in the moment. And making sure her people are up to feed her. ;) Lovely sunrise photos.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunrise! I don't see many of them either, hehe. Except when, like you, my dog manages to get me up early to give her breakfast.
ReplyDeleteRosie looks so beautiful by the way, I love his intense, gorgeous green eyes. Very handsome indeed. :-)
Wow. I'm impressed. You actually saw the sunrise! I don't think I've seen the sunrise for ages. For some reason, I remain a "stay up late; get up late" kind of person. I love your pictures:~)
ReplyDeleteAggie free feeds and so, it works regarding the cat.
That's a handsome picture of Rosie. It is amazing how animals "just deal." They don't generally worry.
